Long-case clock.

Dimensions: 86 3/4" high.

The clock-case is in walnut, with
book-matched sawn walnut
veneers and maple stringing.

The door-carving is by Simon Louie,
a native Salish carver. It depicts a
thunderbird and whale; an eagle
with salmon; a raven and a full
moon.

The drawing etched into the brass
clock-face is also by Simon Louie.
It depicts a 'Cycle of Life' in native
Indian culture.

The clock hands and numerals are in
sterling silver custom-made in the UK
by Michael King.

The clock is fitted with an eight-day
cable movement with night-silence
and a choice of chimes. The pendulum
rod is inlaid with maple stringing.
